Eastern Shore Tour Bus Accident

Recently, a tour bus on its way to Virginia Beach was involved in an accident on the Eastern Shore. As a result, 13 people were injured.

Shortly after 6 a.m. on a Saturday in October, Virginia State Police were called to the 13000 block of Lankford Highway. According to reports, the bus was traveling south on the highway when it suddenly ran off the road, eventually landing in a ditch. Fortunately, no other vehicles were involved.

Although there were 55 people on board at the time of the accident, police only advised that 13 been transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

The 59-year-old driver of the bus was charged with failure to keep a vehicle on the road. It has been noted that the driver was not injured in the accident.

Passengers were from a variety of locations throughout the country, including Virginia Beach, Pennsylvania, and New York.
