Route 13: A Dangerous Eastern Shore Highway

The type of accident that occurred on Thursday sadly happens quite often– unexpected vehicle crossings that occur at unsignalized minor intersections with inadequate lighting on Route 13. Nonetheless, drivers traveling under such conditions should instinctively exercise increased caution when attempting to cross a major intersection like this one.

We send our thoughts to the friends and family of the victims during this surely difficult time.
